Co-Creation Workshop Series

A large global B2B company in the financial sector (insurance) sought to offer solutions their clients truly benefit from in challenging times of market and technology disruptions.

Instead of developing a solution based on market assumptions, the company decided to integrate key clients in a transparent design thinking process, eventually leading to collaboration in product development. The company invited their largest clients in different regions (Asia, Europe, Latin America) and formed a topical community.

Stages of this approach:

  • Design Thinking Workshop with clients, internal experts and external experts about ”mobility scenarios in 2030“. We identified stakeholders and different scenarios.
  • After the workshop: Visualising and explaining the scenarios in ”user stories”. Then the team (clients and internal experts) worked at risks of future scenarios.
  • Design Thinking Workshop to work at insurance solutions to help enable future scenarios.

In this project I helped in creating the workshop concept and communication strategy/measures. I also documented the workshops and online sessions (also wrote detailed user stories and also external articles) to help drive the discussions.

The workshop was highly successful. The company could establish itself as a thought and opinion leader in future mobility risks, and it helped to convince clients to renew and to collaborate on innovative local projects.
