100% Human - Written by a human, not AI
After spending years exploring AI capabilities, I want to be crystal clear about something important: Everything you read on this site was written by me, a human being with real experiences, not by AI.
While I use AI as a powerful tool in my work (and write extensively about it), there’s a fundamental difference between using technology as a tool and letting it generate content on your behalf.
My cross-language journey
German is my native language, and much of what you read here started as German thoughts on my German website that I’ve translated into English. This translation process occasionally involves digital assistance, but the ideas, experiences, insights, and perspectives are authentically mine.
This cross-language journey sometimes results in phrasing that differs from what a native English speaker might choose. I see this not as a limitation but as part of the rich tapestry of human communication across cultures and languages.
Why human authorship matters today
After years of working with AI systems, I’ve become even more convinced that AI isn’t here to replace us - it’s a powerful tool to enhance what we’re already good at. My hands-on experience has shown me countless ways these technologies can amplify human expertise, not eliminate it.
I believe in transparency about content creation for several reasons:
-
Experience can’t be synthesised: My writing draws from decades of lived professional experience and personal insight—something AI can simulate but never truly possess.
-
The human element remains essential: In all my AI projects, I’ve consistently found that human expertise, judgement, and evaluation are irreplaceable, especially for quality and ethical considerations.
-
Authenticity matters: There’s value in knowing you’re engaging with content that represents a real person’s considered thoughts and experiences, especially when discussing technology itself.
Human-to-human connection
In an era where we increasingly ask “was this created by a human or by AI?” about everything we consume online, I want to maintain clear boundaries. My approach embodies what I call a “human-centred approach” to technology: using advanced tools while keeping human expertise, judgement, and connection at the centre.
When I discuss AI systems, I do so as someone who has built these systems from scratch, experiencing both their remarkable capabilities and significant limitations firsthand. This practical perspective shapes my writing in ways that purely AI-generated content cannot replicate.
This site represents genuine human-to-human communication—from my thoughts to your understanding—even when bridging language differences requires technological assistance.
